Kimberly Dupill

Kim started her fitness journey in 2009 after finding herself overweight after the birth of her daughter. She started with learning proper nutrition and walking with her new baby. She next got into roller derby and later a family friend taught her weightlifting and she found her true love…the barbell.

In 2012 she saw one infamous “CrossFitter does handstand on the beach” pic, and wanted both the body and skill to go with it. Kim started CrossFit classes and has continued to progress, getting her CF-LV 1 certificate in 2017, and even becoming a functional fitness gym owner.

Being involved in CrossFit has been life changing for Kim.  There’s the physical aspect of gaining more muscle mass to achieve her goal of becoming a firefighter, but most importantly it has allowed her to to manage her mental health and keep depression/anxiety at bay.
